"Tasks and Notifications" is an optional feature, and if you wish to have it switched on, please request this feature through the support platform – Zendesk.
This feature has been introduced to:
- Give users a personalised feeling within JobReady.Active.
- Allow us to move the existing widgets out of the way from the home screen to create space for other dashboard items
- Increase system usability by having these available on every page.
To setup, click on the users profile button to the top left hand side of the page, and select "Pending Tasks Settings".
Set up which actions you want to display, based on your role within the system. For example, if you are a mentor, you may want to have the mentor tasks switched on.
Tasks will appear under the tasks icon, with a counter of the number of tasks assigned.
Click on "Task Type" to view a list with all relevant records that are required to have an action taken against them. Once action completed against record, number on counter decreases.
To setup, click on the users profile button, and select "Notification Settings".
Configure notifications you want, for example - turning Contacts notifications off, so not receiving any notifications where a contact has been assigned.
Counter will show the number of notifications under the Notifications icon.
Click on the Notifications button to reveal a list of Notifications showing what records have been assigned to the current user, or what actions have been completed.
Clicking on item will take user to an individual record if single record, or search list if bulk assignment.
When notifications no longer required or have been acknowledged, users can click the dismiss button to remove it.
