Smart Form Failure Errors

The Smart Form system is owned by DESE and built by a third party developer which JR Active Integrates with to pre-populate the Smart Forms using the information in JR Active to ease the process of creating Smart Forms for Network Providers. This, however, can lead to unknown errors as JR Active does not control the behaviour of the Smart Forms.

Smart Forms can fail for a range of reasons, however the error that is presented should always be able to be found within the Print Job of the Smart form whether it was run individually or in bulk.

The below errors can occur on a Smart Form, along with the steps to take to remedy the error:

This can be blank where the Training Contract is not linked to the Registration correctly. This can happen due to the Training Contract being a shell record created when there is no linked TC.

Search for the Apprentice record, you will likely find 2 Training Contract. Use our Merge function to link the Training Contracts together.

Alternatively, edit the Training Contract and assign a Site Code.

This can be blank where the Training Contract is not linked to the Registration correctly. This can happen due to the Training Contract being a shell record created when there is no linked TC.

Search for the Apprentice record, you will likely find 2 Training Contract. Use our Merge function to link the Training Contracts together.

Alternatively, edit the Training Contract and assign a Site Code.
