What’s Happening?
On June 6th 2024, DEWR is updating ADMS to remove the process for creating Training Contracts directly.
Due to the limited timeframe provided to meet these requirements, Ready Apprentice cannot support this change as of the 6th of June and are working on this as the top priority.
- New Requirement: Before creating a Training Contract, you’ll first need to create a Signup in ADMS and progress this to a Training contract
- Timeline: We expect to roll out this update within the next week and will provide confirmation as we get closer to the release date.
- Initial Functionality: Initially, this will only allow for individual support for Signups and Bulk Signups will come at a later point in time.
What You Need to Do
For now, continue to manually add Signups in ADMS. Once the Training Contract is created in ADMS, Ready Apprentice will automatically pull these records, just as before.
Stay tuned for more updates and thank you for your patience!
Q&A
If I create a signup in Ready Apprentice before manually creating this in ADMS, will a duplicate TC be created?
- Based on the existing matching logic with our Training Contracts, Duplicates will only be created if the below criteria does not match ADMS TC.
- Site Code
- Apprentice First Name
- Apprentice Surname
- Signup Status =
- Pending
- Processing
- Smart form created
- ADMS TC created
- Pending
- Site Code
Can I still create a Signup Project in Ready Apprentice and push these to ADMS when the Signup Function in Ready Apprentice is built
Yes, however these will need to be one by one until we have finalised the ability to support this as a bulk action. This is expected to come a few weeks following the individual functionality.
What will happen when I use the Push to ADMS button on the Training Contract/Signup record in Ready Apprentice?
This button will be disabled in the meantime to prevent any unnecessary errors populating whilst the function is not available.
